Internship offer

The Clinique psychoalimentaire treats a diverse clientele with significant needs and requiring specific services. We offer assistance to people who are excessively preoccupied with their weight, whether or not they are overweight, to those suffering from anorexia, bulimia or binge eating disorder.

We are dedicated to the treatment of eating disorders. Our clinic’s innovative approach and concern for scientific accuracy have guided our interests in the area of intervention research. Interns have the opportunity to complete their university programs in a clinical environment where people with eating disorder as well as their families converge. Master’s and doctoral students can also collaborate with us on projects associated with their degree.

Our internship program provides you with the opportunity to develop your skills in observation, organization, project development, animating activities, active listening and communication. With the support of an interdisciplinary team, you will be able to put into practice the knowledge acquired during your training.

As part of your internship, Clinique psychoalimentaire offers:

• Specific training on eating disorders (with varying levels of severity encompassing somatic and mental comorbidity), obesity and weight obsession

• Close supervision

• Participation in the clinic’s activities
